It's a small, charming Hotel, which can hardly be seen among the majestic palaces surrounding it.Piazza Barberini one of the best well known squares in Rome, walking distance from many of the popular streets and spots in Rome such as: Via Venetto (only half a block away), Spanish steps (less than five blocks), Fontana de Trevi, Via del Corso and the famous Via Condotti with all the signature stores, all not more than 15 minutes walking from the Hotel. Recently completely renovated maintaining its original style, the hotel has 37 elegantly furnished rooms all endowed with every modern comfort. Cherry wood in the main hall and all the rooms, marble from Trani in the bathrooms, antique stucco on the walls up the staircase, precious drapes at the windows all create a sophisticated environment. The rooms at Hotel Barocco are nicely decorated. You see a lot of polished mahogany wood all around you, even at the angle between the walls and ceiling, which gives it an effect of wood enclosure as a chamber. Because the Barocco was made joining together three different ancient Roman buildings of which only the facade was kept, the rest was remodeled into the nice four star hotel it is today.
